Here's where the litter actually goes
The top layer is honeycomb — open holes across the whole surface. Litter comes off your cat's paws, drops through, and lands in the sealed layer underneath.
Down there, paws can't reach it and it can't get kicked back out. It stays put until you decide to empty it.
Emptying it takes about four seconds
1. Lift one edge so the mat folds along its length.
2. Pour the litter straight back into the box.
3. Put it back down.
No shaking it over a bin. No vacuuming the mat itself. No carrying it out to the yard.
Why the mat you already own doesn't work

Will my cat actually walk on it?
Most do. The surface is soft enough to walk on rather than something a cat routes around. Some cats need a few days to stop treating it as new furniture.
Does it work with clumping litter?
Yes. It's designed for granular litter, which is what falls through the honeycomb.
Does it stop tracking completely?
No, and be careful of anyone who tells you otherwise. It catches what comes off your cat's paws in the two or three steps after the box, which is where most of it lands.
How often do I empty it?
Most people do it about once a week, but it depends on your cat and your litter. You'll see when it's full.
Do the mat and the bags arrive together?
Not necessarily. They ship separately, so you may get two tracking numbers and two delivery dates for one order.
